For whom likes to tweak their computer...

The following Unicodes when posted at http://unicode.org/charts/unihan.html in the Blank White Box at the top of the page will find that:

3070 304b 3067
Bo ka shi

Written in its proper form. Notice that it is in Hiragana characters - rather than the Chinese-style Kanji character set, AND not in Katakana {for foreignwords introduced into Japanese}. As Bokashi is truly a vernacular for a specific style of "medicinal" compost...unlike the "unknown editor"'s changing of my page about EM in Wiki saying that it is the common compost.
There does exists a Kanji for "Bokashi" - but does not have anything to with gardening whatsoever.

Compost in Japanese is "Taihi" and it is written in Kanji as:
5806 80a5
Tai hi

Or in Hiragana phonetics as:
305f 3044 3072
Ta i hi

EM-Bokashi is truly a modern vernacular for something different, but based on ancient custom...
