Dead lawnspots

My dog's cousin is coming to visit for the week-end.

The problem is that when he pees on the lawn we get a dead spot.
He is a male and I thought this problem you would only have with female dogs. He is a springer spaniel.

Any suggestions? May be supplements?

PS: This is the 1st year since a long time, that the lawn is at its best.
