Re: Dog with hemangiosarcoma

Hi,
Flax and/or Flax seed oil may be helpful, there is some information here and there on the web. Some swear by it, others aren't sure, but it can't hurt to try it. www.earthlife.biz has good flax seed oil for a good price

Here is one link to a site you might find helpful:
http://www.dog-play.com/cancerdiet.html
and there are others.

I can feel for you, and I personally think your decision to forego chemo and just allow your sidekick to go as long as their quality of life is good is a hard, but good decision. As long as they still have that sparkle in their eye, they're happy. Animals don't necessarily have the hangups we humans do about their own frailties. I worked for a man with an ancient Golden Lab that couldn't walk more than 30 feet and couldn't get up or even lay down without assistance, but it was still quite happy.

Good luck, and keep your chin up, you're doing right by your dog.
