Re: Dad

This is really moving, I felt the emotion. It makes me think about about my mother, who I didn't really get along with, but over the years we then became more connected. Was it me, or her, or both, I think both. We had such different personalities, but learned to accept one an other, to an extent. It is so sad when that is not possible! She had Alzheimers, but we conneted before that.

My dad and I had a close relationship, so that was not a problem, but he is now on his way, with Parkinson and Alzheimers, it is so sad! It is such a change and moving along much faster. I wish there was more that I could do, except hold on to what they have left!
