no, that does not sound like diverticulitis to me. possible urinary tract infection or something else. if i were you i would go to see your ob-gyn and get a thorough examination. the fact that you said you had pain near the ovaries, and the fact that it flared up after sex makes me wonder if it is related to the reproductive organs.
