We should be buying it now before this month is up-- unless you can afford the expensive versions grown in Tuscany that will only be going up about $6.00 or so more than they are now.

The article states olive oil can keep it's freshness for up to a year if kept in a cool dark place--- not stored in places like over your stove top.
