I ate bagged spinach a few days ago. It was steamed (and delicious if I might add). I was wondering if it would have been safe because it was steamed. I'm thinking that steaming doesn't lead to a high temp and therefore, it probably would not kill the e. coli. Anyway, I'm not worrying too much since I can't go back in time... I was mostly curious.
