Re: Cold food for weight loss?

Just some friendly advice,

I think if you want to find an effective diet plan to help lose weight, I would focus on eating whole foods. It is more important to focus on health than your weight.

I don't think it would be wise to try and have your body use up more energy to digest food in an effort to lose weight. If this were true, why don't we stand outside in the winter so that our bodies can use up more energy to help us lose weight? Because, if we do this, our bodies are using all its energy to keep warm, and it has no energy to fight infections, and we get sick.

Also, it's likely that this doctor only focused on the "calorie" content of food, and how many "calories" your body uses up. But calories are not created equal, so you have to be careful.

The less effort you body needs to break down a food, the more energy it has to keep you awake and fight infections, heal, grow, eliminate waste, etc.

Sorry if this doesn't answer your question ;)
