So far I can't recall that anyone used the ghee. You could try the macademia nut oil it tastes good. I only use olive oil and after different kinds Italian, Spanish, I use now Greek made from kalamata olives. I like my OO (Olive-Oil) as tasteless as possible.
You could try with less oil. I make mine tastier now with the following spices turmeric, dandelion extract and ginger powder.
Somewhere in Telman's posts is a list of different oils, right now I have computer problems, so I can't look it up, may be someoneelse will give the link.
