good question...

Was asking myself the same thing.. I actually feed the earthworms.

They love good soil, actually come out and have a grand old party.

Anywho, for the ants, Dr. Clark recommends mix of distilled white vinegar and water to mop the floor and wipe the counters the ants suppossedly hate it so much you can draw a line with the mix, and they won't cross it.

HAVE NOT TRIED IT for this purpose though, as we do not have ants inside. But do use the mix regularly for cleaning. I imagine it works though, since it is also recommended for killing parasites, bacteria, etc. in veggetables and fruit?

Not surprised to hear that asparame kills them so fast though.

Can't believe people continue to use this poison.
