No sound on web pages

The thing is, when I listen to music using winamp, windows media player etc...or playing games i have no problem with sound, but when I go to different web pages, like youtube, I cant hear the sound. I do have the latest flash player though.

I also cant hear the sound in my windows xp....like when you get an error or when you start up the windows....

I checked the system info->sound devices...and figured I have two devices
...the first is Unimodem Half Duplex audio device
...the second is Intel(r)...numbers... AC 97 Audio Controller

Status...both working fine

Where is the problem?
