Off topic: Pap smear question.

Hi,
I have read a little about alternative Breast Cancer treatments and the down falls of orthadox Breast Cancer treatments etc and remember reading about how cancers can form at the point of a biopsy. That has got me thinking - does anyone think the same could apply to a pap smear - especially that more accurate cervical cancer test? Im not sure what its called, but its VERY uncomfortable. I have always felt abit suss about having pap smears but I have no solid reason to except maybe that i dont have much faith in the medical establishment to begin with...
Any imput would be appreciated. I hope it's ok to post off topic but I couldnt see a cervical Cancer Forum .
