Re: Mollybloom

It is ACCOUNTING.

Yep, I love numbers too. I find it very soothing. One plus one equals two....and all is right with the world.

But really, I sometimes think Math is just as creative as anything else. Also, to me, it's like meditation.

And when I'm doing art, it's like major chaos. A mind explosion, where numbers are turned around, just like something autistic. No reason, no logic....or ...maybe not so. My sculptures are like a big kids LEGO's game.

My Dad is a nuclear physicist and engineer. Growing up, I was given every building game out there...Lincoln Logs, Erector Sets, Legos, etc. My Mom used to say that every Christmas I got 5000 toys, and she knows, she had to clean them up! Perhaps my sculptures are a bit of that learning, but they are my chaotic side. Where my left brain meets my right brain, and kaboom.

So, while I am doing major brain function during the day...high level, focused math like things, I come home and am able to go into another world. It does not inhibit me at all.

When I was working with a ton of clients....people, non logical, emotional, then I would come home and not do any art at all, I was totally drained.

Does that make sense to y'all?

Love and Kisses, Molly
