I have been slammed with this one:

Chevrolet (GM) makes parts that are designed to fail after XX,XXX miles. This is done through both intentional design flaws and weak materials. They of course offer an extremely lucrative (for them) parts and service department that charge horrendous prices to fix the vehicle. They may not get the customer at the showroom floor, but that vehicle will bring them profits eventually after XX,XXX miles when it pulls into the service bay... Tweet
