Re: New FDA approved Spray

Well, I used to grow quite a bit of food in a rather small garden... for those interested try reading "Square foot gardening." I don't remember who wrote it. My motivation was that I was wanting to avoid pesticides.

When set up right, it is amazing how much food you can obtain out of a small space. I grew everything organically, of course, and besides the usual veggies- enough varieties of berries to be dubbed "the berry lady" at the local nursery. Yeah, I loved my fruit, or perhaps the candida did... anyways...

That came to an end one morning when I looked up to see a neighbor sandblasting his car... and the debris blowing all over my formerly organic garden. It was all ruined, and I didn't trust the soil after that point, either. :( It was disheartening, and after we moved I really didn't take up gardening like that again. Heck, now we live by a swamp and how healthy is "West Nile," anyways?

It really is frustrating to be unable to choose the quality of our food. It makes it harder to stay or to become healthy.

When it comes to these bacteriophages, I find it scary. I know what they are "supposed to do," but then there are often surprises. In the hopes that this is a hoax, I keep checking snopes.com. No such luck.
