I have only one eye, and have to wear a contact lens for optimal vision. Extra large floaters (for two years now) refuse to go away, and I have been to retinal specialist, twice, to no avail. My question: Does anyone have any experience with contact lens solutions, specifically those designed to dissolve protein deposits, being useful also in dissolving the hardened protein filaments which result in the shadows we see as floaters? I've been using these solutions for many years, and the floaters are just getting worse. But maybe there are special solutions that have stronger dissolving capacities? Also, I am wondering if eliminating the contact lens itself might help increase circulation of oxygen to the eye, and help with the floaters. Any advice would be welcome!
