something there that wasn't there before

after a life of being in a heterosexual relationship that lasted nearly 30 years, I have found the love of my life, and the freedom that comes with it. I learned that it isn't about who you love... but that you love, and are loved in return. Years of unhappiness and are a memory now. Not that I didn't mourn a failed marriage, and fight feelings of guilt and remorse for a broken family daily...I still believe that what I have found is something I have been looking for all of my life. It took a lifetime..but it was worth it.
