For bacterial vaginosis and cervicitis.
A few of the herbs that have been used for such conditions include False unicorn, Black Cohosh and Chaste Berry. Echinacea and Golden Seal are taken for infection. Calendula, Golden Seal and Witch Hazel are herbs that have been used as douche. All can be used in extract form. For an herbal douche and teaspoon (altogether) of extract(s) is added to a pint of sterile water. Douching should be used to control infection, but not overdone.
