Re: very tight tendons on hand

Most poultices smother the tissues and this causes the body to rescue the tissues by increased blood circulation to carry the poultice material away in the blood stream. The more organic minerals/sugars the poultice posseses the better. The oil or salve applications shuts the air off to the tissues and causes even more blood to come to the rescue! This is why olive oil is the base for salves, the body can absorb and thrive on olive oil. So even soaking the hand in olive oil and covering with a glove to protect the furnishings will do wonders. I have not uses clove in this way, but would not see why it wouldn't work well in small amounts.

Blessings,
MH
