Hi,
It is a dark syrup and the jar does say unsulphured. I could have sworn it was sorghum but nowhere on the bottle does it say that. The label does say it "is refined from the concentrated juice of sun-ripened sugar cane without the use of sulphur dioxide. This produces a premium quality Molasses."
It is also produced by Mott's (the applesauce people). Being a big company, I always have my doubts about other things added.
But, if this is blackstrap, I'm sure I would really like the sorghum. I really prefer to use this with my apple cider vinegar rather than honey (which I haven't found any raw honey either). (not bad with coffee either).
I live out in the country and really only get 'to town' about twice a month and a lot of things are just not available in NW Oklahoma... thought maybe kimber could find this in her stores too.
