Hi,

I've been reading a forum for bacterial vaginitis at Yahoo. One other thing that can happen, with this vicious cycle of candida/BV, etc. is an overgrowth of lactobacillus (called cytolytic vaginitis), which would cause itching, possibly burning and no odor, especially if you've been taking a lot of probiotics with the candida. If you find out you have the lacto overgrowth, it can be cured by douching with a little baking soda, two times per week, or for 7 days. If you try the vinegar, and it doesn't work, I would be happy to steer you to the Yahoo group for more information, or I could tell you what I've learned. If you decide to use the soda, it would probably smell like ammonia after you douche, and it could itch for awhile while getting better.

I've had candida and BV, so I know how you feel. I'm on the vinegar route now (drinking some in water, which is what has been recommended to me), because I still have the fishy smell.

Good luck,
Angelblue
