Re: Work in progress - Geographic Tongue
Bronte,
Congratulations on your improving health! I had geographic tongue too. They say it's not a painful symptom, but it is--it's not excruciating, but mostly a persistent nagging kind of pain. It makes that area of the mouth raw. For anyone who doesn't know...It's a rash that flattens the surface of the tongue, in which your taste buds are nowhere to be found and the rash has a map-like shape. The rash also moves around, changing shape constantly. Also the reason your doctor told you it is normal and not to worry about it is because he doesn't have a clue what caused it and how to cure it. lol. The most they can say is that it "might" be
Psoriasis of the tongue since many people with one ailment also have the other. It never ceases to amaze me that the medical profession cannot figure out that many dis-eases are linked to poor liver health, which is the real reason we have certain symptoms at the same time.
I've done 17
Liver Flushes and during my last flush, I got 3 stones and they would have only been as big as one pea if I combined them. The geographic tongue does go away better and better with each flush. I got somewhere between 2,000 and 2,500 stones out over the past 10 months and one was the size of an egg. I don't get geographic tongue anymore. Flushing also cured me of canker sores and many other symptoms. How many flushes has your husband done to cure his canker sore problem?
