Fungus and mold... same thing?

I have gotten ringworm on my leg... and finally am using lamisol orally which is greatly helping to get rid of it. I believe I need to wash anything and everything in the way of clothing to not reinfect. My question is... I recently found some mold in my closet on clothes and shoes as it is an interior and closed closet. Are mold and ringworm the same and is this where I could have gotten the problem? Tweet
