Red spots?

Ok this is driving me nuts now..

First time in a hall way in the middle of the night, it was pitch black, Very, very little light going through. I saw 2 red dots and behind them it seemed blacker than any other area of the hall way. It seemed to make eye contact and I was staring at it trying to see if it was coming closer or what.. I couldn't tell. It went away after I blinked.


Now last night, outside around 4am. I sat on the steps waiting for my dog to finish peeing. I was looking at a star because it was the only one there and it was kind of cool looking. Then I looked to the side and towards the back of the yard, way above the trees ... the red dots again. Only they seemed to be moving and like following my eyes..and then once it clicked that I'm seeing the red dots again..they disapeared.


I looked around outside..it wasn't possibly some kind of reflection of anything. It was werid and kind of freaked me out. I'ts not those eye "floater" things or anything like that.
