Re: How about (organic) goat milk?
Hi there,
I understand that the number of people that have an immediate negative reaction to goat's milk is lower than that of cows milk.
Goat's milk is still, however, a substance perfected by millions of years of evolution for the nourishment of baby goats.
I have not been able to find any evidence that suggests that goat milk was consumed any earlier than cows milk, meaning that in either case we have not had the time required to develop the ability to deal with milk as an appropriate food.
While goats milk does seem to present less immediate symptoms than cows milk, this does not mean that the long-term results will be any better than those of cow milk consumption.
I would suggest that no form of mammalian milk is good for adult humans.
Sincerely,
Eric Edmeades

I have not been able to find any evidence that suggests that goats milk was consumed for any longer than cows milk, meaning that in either case we have not had the time and circumstances required to deal with milk as an appropriate food.
Still, I suppose if one HAD to have milk from another mammal, goats milk does seem to present less immediate symptoms than cows milk. Having said that, this does not mean that the long-term results will be any better or worse than those of cow milk consumption.
I would suggest that no form of mammalian milk is good for adult humans, not even human milk.
