SAMe: yes or no?

Life Extension Foundation recommends SAMe as a supplement for MD patients. Here is a link to their site for ordering it:

The description on the site says SAMe supports liver function. I am wondering if Liver Cleansing with the Incurables Program would eventually make the liver healthy enough to do its job without this supplement?
