Mycotoxins: foods to avoid
Dear ones,
In their books, The Garden of Eden Longevity Diet Fungalbiotics Series, Dr. A.V. Constantini, M.D., et al, all former heads of the World Health Organization Collaberating Centre For Mycotoxins in Food, suggest that yeast, fungus, and molds with their mycotoxins, are responsible for many degenerative diseases, including muscular dystrophy. The first link below gives a short description of the book series and an order link.
Dr. Dave Holland, et al, authored several books on the subject of mycotoxins. He came up with a "Top Ten Foods to Avoid" list, which would probably be wise for the MD patient, whether adult or child, to follow. Click on the second link below to read a description of why each food is bad.
Here they are:
1. Alcoholic beverages
2. Corn- this goes for corn syrup, cornmeal batter (like you find on chicken nuggets and fish sticks), corn oil
3. Wheat- as I research wheat, it seems to me that the only form of wheat that is safe for an MD patient to eat is wheatgrass. I believe Ann Wigmore os the foremost authority on wheatgrass. Many, many high profile naturopathic doctors and health professionals promote the healing power of wheat grass. I personally choose wheatgrass (in dehydrated powder form alone and in Superfood) over wheat germ.
4. Barley- the grain. In grass form, barley has many benefits. Barleygrass is also found in green superfoods.
5.
Sugar (beet and cane)- fungus grows on it, it fuels fungus growth and also feeds parasites, among a million other things.
6. Sorgham- although some health experts recommend sorgham molasses, I am now cautious about using it.
7. Peanuts- peanut butter, peanut oil, peanut brittle, peanut M&M's...
8. Rye- no rye bread or rye crackers, either
9. Cottonseed
10. Hard cheeses
Toward the cure,
-Donna
