Distilled Water

Dear ones,

My husband and I just bought a water distiller last week and have really been giving it a good workout. It distills one gallon at a time. We ordered it from www.nutriteam.com. It cost about $100. It sits on the kitchen countertop.

The taste of distilled water is delicious. It also changes the taste of tea and other beverages for the better. We even use this water to make ice cubes instead of using the icemaker in the refrigerator.

I haven't noticed any health changes in the week since switching to distilled water, other than peace of mind. However, John and I are both TOTALLY grossed out when we see what is left behind in the bottom of the distiller after every single gallon!

There, in the bottom of the distiller, is a light brown slippery sludge, with some kind of white scaly deposits on the sides. After every gallon of Crystal C. pure water made, we have to scrub out the bottom of the distiller with a plastic scrubbie thingy. The rinse water is muddy looking. That muddy looking water is what I have been putting into my family's bodies for over ten years- when we moved to Waco. Our poor kidneys!

Not only has changing to distilled water made me "feel" healthier, it has also made me an activist for clean waterways! I hope the "liberal left-wing wacko environmentalist tree huggers" will accept a right wing radical conservative Republican Bush groupie like me in your midst! LOL

I raise a glass of pristine distilled water to our good health!

-Donna
