Probiotics

You've heard of Antibiotics , which kill bacteria in bacterial infections. There are also probiotics, which promote the growth of good, friendly bacteria. You need friendly bacteria in your intestines in order to have great colon health. If you've had a round of Antibiotics or drink tap water, you've probably stripped your intestines of most bacteria, good and bad. The good bacteria needs to be replaced with a probiotic.

I am just now learning about probiotics. I am going to use one called Primal Defense (PD). It comes as a pill and a powder. I am going to opt for the pill. In rare instances PD may cause a rash.

You are not supposed to use an antiparasitic and a probiotic at the same time. Shelly, on the Ask Shelly forum, says you do two weeks of the antiparasitic (ICF#2), and then do two weeks of the probiotic (PD). Then you come back and do two more weeks on ICF#2 and two weeks on PD. If you are going to do the full-blown Incurables Program, you would take ICF#2 for the entire 30 days, then wait until after the first thirty days to do your probiotic.

You can also make your own kefir, which has probiotics, but I have no knowledge of how to do that. Store-bought kefir is also supposed to be fine if it is organic. I don't think kefir is "allowed" on the IP, but I want you to know there are options.

Make sure you are drinking all the water you need to in order to get the benefits out of these colon cleansing agents.

Blessings,
-Donna
