We're making progress!

Baton Rouge, LA - Jun 06, 2006 The Louisiana Senate has passed a conditional ban on abortion that is expected to be signed by Gov. Kathleen Blanco.

The Louisiana abortion ban would punish abortionists with possible 10 year prison sentences and $100,000 fines, but allows exceptions to save the life of the mother or if the mother’s health would be seriously damaged.
-------------------------

This is truly progress.

The killing needs to be punished. The question now is what is an appropriate sentence for this crime? Louisianna says 10 year prison sentence. That sounds nice on the surface, but a well-behaved doctor will surely get out in 2 or 3. What we need is JUSTICE!

To me an appropriate sentence would be to chain these abortion doctors to a 40lb steel ball....and then make them carry it down the middle of the highway while they pick up trash for 10 full years! And they would also have to wear t-shirts depicting them as BABY KILLERS to passing motorists. And if they choose not to do this, then they can just stay hogtied in their Louisianna prison cells all day long! After they get out, the should never be able to "practice medicine" again!
