When God created Adam and Eve he breathed life into Adams body. The greek word for soul (when God breathed into adam , it was not one soul but many)The word was souls. From the beginning of time, the air God breathed into the first two created people is what we have in us until this day. That is the breath in us. Soul is not the breath you take when you come out of the womb. It is the breath that is in every being, no matter how small. If someone needs and abortion there is Life in them. That is the breath of life in their womb, a soul. God gave us life since the beginning of time. Man does not give life.
