The pro-life side should take zero compromise, or they shouldn't be called pro-life but pro-some-life.

I am not sure if D&X is forbidden, I didn't think it was.

I'd be willing to accept no late term abortins unless the mother's life is threatened.

Depends who's going to make that decision. Lots of pro-life people say, "it's god's will" or it's not 100% sure that the mother will die if she dosen't get an abortion, and that's where it gets sticky.
