redheaded, I don't see anyone on this board screaming "equal rights for woman" I think you keep bringing that up. I think the Pro-Choice people are saying that they reserve the right to do what they want with their own bodies. Women just happen to be the gender that bears the children. And no, we don't always need a man to help raise a child, although having a kind, loving, considerate, responsible man around would be nice (for those that want one) but not all men (or necessarily women) ARE this way.

And probably you need a man to help you raise six kids, because Holy S, that's what I call a handfull! If you have a good husband to help you out then that's good.
