Re: Morality
Well, my bracing is relaxed. Thank you for your modest post.
I completely understand your position on morality. But this is a great big world, and again, I have to say morality is in the eye of the beholder. That being said, we are in a world that throws sex at the children in such a wanton way. We cannot reverse time. There are many families out there, some moral, some not so. It would be very nice, if the kind and gentle family unit was in every household, indeed a perfect world. But, sad to say, with divorce at an all time high, many children do not have a family unit that is intact. I believe the word is neglected.
But you can't go back, you have to move forward. You have to ride with the times. How do you propose that we help those children with no family core? You can't change the movie industry, and you can't keep the kids locked in a room.
But then again, I have to say, that at least we are freer to feel our sexuality than in the past. The puritanical core still lives deeply in America. But puritanical interests are not shared by a vast majority of this country.
How can we help America's? By the use of education. It's our only ace in the hole right now. Realistically speaking.
Sorry for the crack about your gender. It's hard enough having the government tell you what to do with your body.
