Sorry, I forgot to mention... but being on the pill actually is what made my yeast infections more common and the vulvar pain only started about 1 year after taking the pill and then the shot. Getting off these didn't help, but I am quite sure they are one of the causes of the original problem. You may want to quit BC if you are taking it. It is very unnatural and harmful for the body.
