Dr. T...help

I'm 24 years old. I was blessed up until a year ago never really having cramps (once a year at the most, but very mild). Over the last 2 years, I've had to get ultrasounds done due to having lower abdominal pain from ovarian cysts.

Over the last year, my periods have become very heavy. During the last 6 months I've had debilitating menstrual cramps and have passed blood clots during my periods. What I am concerned about is that during this time I've had severe lower back pain and severe pain shooting down my right quadricep. This pain only comes during my period. It last 2 days. I've taken almost lethal doses of acetaminophen and it doesn't do a thing.

I was wondering if this is normal. If not, could this be possibly endometriosis??

I am going for another ultrsound next week.

FYI - My periods are always regular and I'm not only pill or any other type of contraceptive.

Thanks.
