Re: 10 day update....are my scales broken?
Hang in there Ruby. I know it is discouraging to see the scale not move. As you said you see a difference in your body and that is a plus. Being on fast in the past, this is the reason why I take measurments each week. I am assuming since I weight train, that could be affecting the numbers on the scale (muscle gain), BUT in the measurements it ALWAYS tell a different story of progress and THAT keeps me going. So, if you have time, try to make a list of your body parts and measure yourself once a week, this will help you from being discourage, because the scale IS evil...LOL Just some advice. I know you won't give up! This is great, give yourself some time, some may even suggest to not weigh yourself for alittle while. I have a calendar which I write what SHOULD be the loss for that day at the top and at the bottom I write the ACTUAL weight for that day. Right now I have mine charted to August 8th, that's why I project a weigh in of 140 for that day, may or may NOT happen, but hey I can have hope?
Many of us have hit plateau on this forum, but press through...shoot ask Nicki she has been through it and pressed in and she saw the scale move again.
