Okay well I've done it all. My advice would be to restrict to all natural RAW high fiber foods having fish 3 times a week for 3 weeks then switch to fasting after that to continue the weightloss. Just my advice because I have alot of experince with this unfortuneately!!! The high protein, high fat low carb will def make u loose fast but its taking away from the healing process and when you break your fast you should break it with frutis veggies etc and if you have nay of that stuff after you blow up. I've seen it happen to my friend alot...they always go on atkins/south beach loose alot and blow up when they want carbs.
Also I'd really recommend a diet called the fat flush. By the book it really works though it takes time to prepare things. I put this 43 year old woman on it at work and she lost 15 lbs in 3 weeks.!
Conclusion: either fatflush then fast, or restrict RAW then fast
