New Motivation
I have been typing a spreadsheet that I'll use to track my
inches lost and weight loss. It's pretty simple, without using formulas. Just a place to keep track.
I used a different color font for projecting my weight loss (I know, totally unrealistic) so I can see where I might be if I stick with my plan.
I've mapped it out until the end of July with a few MC's and Liver Flushes, based on my personal pattern of weight lost on previous fasts. I know when I tend to slow down, etc. I was surprised to see that I'd be almost to my mid-term weight goal (175 lbs) by the end of July! I'll be pleased if I make it half way there by then (started at 243.5 yesterday, and now at 237).
I'm printing this and keeping it (for my eyes only) in my underwear drawer. That way I have to see it once or twice per day. I can't even described how much this exercise has strengthened my committment. I mean, if I were to break my fast and tell myself that I'll start over tomorrow/next week/etc., I will make a big dent in the progress I've made. Besides, I'm almost to the "easy" part now...why stop when I can see where I'm headed!
