greetings. my daughter (12 years old) has been eating vegan changed from the SAD for a month and a half. mostly raw, some cooked. we just learned that we need to cut out soy... (the hormonal disturbances) and that she needs to eat an egg or some type of meat for l-taurine or she may suffer in the future.
taurine being one of the essential aminos, and she being an adolescent, still growing... what is the truth about that? does she need to eat an egg a day? l-taurine is needed for heart and brain health... very important.
what should i do? any suggestions, websites? i want what is best for her.
a guy at the health food store also recommends an egg a day for me, too. says his all vegan friends and clients always have disorders and regrets about 7 years later.
