This is another big reason that I discount the new testament except for it's historical interest. The spirit of Jesus' teachings were changed, his advanced spiritual lessons were edited out, and a whole plethora of pagan trappings and early orthodox church control devices were written in... and they put lots and lots of words that were never said in Jesus' mouth...

I have read most of the http://www.soulindia.com website. It is quite interesting. (uses a lot of the Edgar Cayce readings). Take a look at it and tell me what you think...
