If you have that nasty coating on your tongue, scrub it off with a cotton ball (those flat, round ones work best). Reach as far back on your tongue as you can without gagging. Gargle with a teaspoon of baking soda mixed in about 1/4 cup of water. Wait a few minutes to rinse it out, better if you don't rinse. Gargling or drinking a little liquid chlorophyll can help too.
