Re: Question from a non-vegetarian

i HATE TO tell you this but your daughter may be masking an eating disorder.
Many young people today with eating disorders mask it by calling themselves vegetarian.
YOu might want to investigate, ask her about her choice.
Get into the why!

I am completely vegan and I literally eat all day long, from the time I wake up till the time i go to bed.
Of course I never gain any weight but that's also genetics.
I weighed just 10 pounds more as a meat-eater.
Your daughter should be getting more proteins.
otherwise she'll have that hallow face vegetarian look.
YOu will see some vegetarians/vegans look 10 years older than they really are because they're not getting enough protein so the body makes up for it by consuming muscle in their faces and everywhere else, hence that "hollow face" look.
NO collagen under the facial skin leads to an aging looking face.

MOre importantly

Sample diet for your daughter
in the morning, non-citrus fruit like papaya, pear or apple or
She can juice it fresh if you have a juicer. That's when she should take her free form amino acid complex with b-complex and C
There's a vegan bran called veglife that makes b and c suitable for vegetarians.

an hour later she should have oatmeal.
Steal cut oats (take 45 minutes to cook) with wheat bran and flax seeds)
with almond milk or soy milk but preferably almond milk.

Lunch should be a big salad, mixed greens with red bell peppers, she can throw beans or lentils in there leeks, cherry tomatoes, olive oil, and apple cider vinegar for dressing and as a side dish she should have a couple of slices of toast with mashed avocado and lemon juice and Sea Salt ..hmmmmm delicious.
That's when she should take her fat soluble vitamins like vitamin e, coral calcium

2 hours later she should take flax seed oil (cold pressed)
barlean is a great bran

for dinner she can have pasta with chopped vegetables like cabbage, onions, garlic, parsley, kale and she can switch for different vegetables on other days.

3 hours later she can snack on black grapes or some other fruit

There's no reason why your daughter should be eating so little.
Thre's so much out there that doesn't come from animals.
let me know if this helps.
Denise
