Re: Yes, but it is bad for you...

There is a lot of interesting information in this post but there is at least one mistake. "Chocolate liquor" isn't alcohol.

The author, Dr. William Kyle, claims that chocolate contains "fermented alcohol" because one of the ingredients is "chocolate liquor." In fact, "liquor" in this usage does not mean an alcoholic beverage. It means "liquid solution" or "essence." For instance, tea specialists refer to a cup of tea as "tea liquor," meaning that the flavor essence of the tea leaves is dissolved in the hot water.

"Chocolate liquor" is a paste made by crushing the inner part of the cocoa bean. Another name for it is "chocolate mass."

There are alcoholic chocolate-flavored drinks, like creme de cacao, but the word for them is "liqueur."

This is a mistake that I would not expect from an expert in nutrition, so I would recommend double-checking his other claims. It's funny, because he starts by saying "immediately I know
the source attempting to [defend chocolate] knows little or nothing about sound nutrition and biochemistry." To my mind, his mistake is just as serious!

I don't know about the other things he says. Some of them are about chocolate candy, but not necessarily about chocolate soy milk, chocolate tofu pudding, etc. For instance, chocolate soy milk doesn't have any more fat than the same brand of regular soy milk.
