Re: Fasting diet and doctor Delio Esteve
What food did you have to give up which was the hardest for you to give up to become vegetarian?
For me, it was my wife's Chicken Divan, which is, to me, the comfort food to end all comfort foods. It's casserole, it's chicken, it's bread crumbs and cheesy cream-of-mushroom sauce, it's rice... Naturally, the day I made the switch four weeks ago, my wife MADE THIS FOR DINNER. I hadn't informed her of the switch, really. She just instinctively seemed to know that I needed a "moral test"... heh...
*sigh*
I had already been eating fairly vegetarian on my own due to flushing and cleansing, but we still had meat at home, so I'd eat it for dinner or on weekends. The big issue, then, was merely deciding to enforce my choice in the face of my family's carnivorous inclinations. But once I overcame THAT temptation (Chicken Divan), there was no longer any doubt.
