Was going to 'dry run' the Master-Cleanse today, but I didnt really love the taste so I tried a pineapple/water fast instead (mmmm, pineapple). I had a 3:1 ratio of water to juice and drank about 4L of fluid. Maybe this was a mistake though, as I was at work today for 10 hours where I am moving constantly, walking and not stopping much. At about 8 I felt pretty light headed, and also had a few sharp headaches. This is when I broke, and had 4 saltines. Then I figured 'f-this' and ended up having a salad and bread.
BAH!
This fasting is pretty hard to do. I am guessing that I just have to get used to it and next week it should be easier...I'm shooting for a Thursday organic apple/H20 fast with about 1L of juice and 4L of water. After hearing all of the positive aspects of fasting 1 day a week I plan to make it ritual.
