I live in northern Illinois, and have the same sentiments that you do about the cold. We are also having a relatively mild winter, but I feel the cold down to my bones when I am fasting. I am counting the days to when I go exercise outside with shorts and a tank top on. Sometimes it blows to live in a climate where you get 3-4 months of warm weather a year.
There have been some great posts as far as what to drink, such as hot teas, and I will start doing some of them as well. I also find that if I keep my hands warm, the rest of me will be easier. I run outside, and your hands and feet, being your extremities feel the cold the hardest.
