I use a metal super fine tea strainer. It can hold about a half cup of liquid. Too much pulp triggers digestion, but a little won't cause problems. I did a juice fast for 22 days in the spring. I felt wonderful and I cheated a little by buying canned tomato juice for blending with the green juices. I know, bad..bad..but real tomato juice was sooooo yucky. With the tomato I made a veggie coctail with beet juice, carrot, celery, lemon and parsely with a shot of hot sauce. The hot sauce helped with the low blood pressure shivers.
