What I'm Having for Breakfast...


I will be juicing green apples, red grapes and fresh ginger! 3 large green apples give about a pint of juice, a large bunch of grapes about 1-1/2 cups...

I will be drinking about 3 cups total juices every day. My partner Carlos, who requires more support, will be drinking closer to 6.

During the three days Carlos will be with us I will be juicing pretty much from this list:

Good juices for the heart: Red grapes, lemon, cucumber, carrot, beet, garlic, onion

Arteriosclerosis: Grapefruit, pineapple, lemon, celery, carrot, lettuce, spinach

Diabetes: citrus, carrot, celery, lettuce, spinach, onion

I will give Carlos vegetable broth, very rich in vitamins and minerals (particularly potassium) for extra support. Anyone can drink this broth as part of their total juice intake. Just cut up potatoes, carrots, beets, celery, onion and fresh garlic. Cover well with pure water, simmer til done, let cool and strain. Drink warm, cold or hot.

And of COURSE we will be exercising each day!
