thanks for your well wishes! turns out i came down with a nasty flu. my doctor suggested i wait on the juice fast until this week, but i'm going out of town this weekend then it's my birthday, so it's not an ideal time to begin for me (i think it's bad luck to not indulge in a little birthday cake on your birthday!).
